The customer had purchased the float without a divider, and his horses had taken to nipping each other while traveling.

We custom-built a simple removable divider that used existing pin holders on the float’s central upright bar and locked into the front tackbox, providing a safe and secure divider that is also silent whilst in travel.

We replaced a client’s older timber yards and built a new steel awning over her shelters and yards to provide her horses with year-round protection from the elements.

Here’s what she had to say:

I just sat and admired work being finished on my stable upgrade.
I used to have a workable three boxes in a row with walk in walk out yards attached and a feed shed on the end.
It had been gradually constructed over the years due to additional horses (foaling needs) and mostly built to a budget rather than a plan!
This year things changed. I demo’ed to EquineX and met the wonderful people from M&T Fabrications. I discussed then getting a small amount of work done to fix up my slightly daggy timber yards and to improve some gateways.
Well it grew.
I now have three new yards with wonderful interconnecting gates, a 2m verandah in front of the feed shed and right along the front of the boxes.
Now for the BEST bit. It works!!!!!! It came in (nearly) on budget. The posts are all capped, the rubbish is all taken away (no dangerous rubbish left ANYWHERE, the horses are SAFE because these people KNOW just how nordy horses can be. There are latches and gate holders that WORK. It’s square (even tho the old section wasn’t quite oops). And it looks fantastic.

I asked for a quote for a new washbay (the old one looks waaaaaay too daggy near all this new stuff)………….
I haven’t warned hubby yet that I might get a quote for the arena fence…….why worry him

I look out at the stables now and just smile…….lucky me it’s sooo nice to have things that work!

A customer had purchased a second-hand float in need of some major repair work to bring it up to a safe condition.

The customer had this to say:

HUUUUUUUUGE kudos to M&T Fabrications who did the fantastic job of making my old float look brand spanking new!

The work done is as follows:
Most noticable thing obviously the new paint job, inside and out.
The drawbar was filled in with checkerplate.
The old hydrolic hitch (which was changed to electric some time ago but the hydrolic unit was still on) was taken off and a new snazzy hitch put on.
Swing up jockey-wheel!
The floor in the tack compartment was replaced.
The tailgate ramp was replaced.
The single spring originally on the tailgate, which was nowhere NEAR enough to lift the bloody thing, was replaced with 2 very new springs! I can lift the tailgate with one hand now!
The front and side windows were replaced.
The walls on either side, behind where the wheel arches are, were COMPLETEY rusted through. These were cut away and new sheets put in. I can’t believe the amount of rust, there were whole patches just missing.
